Further Details

"The third release of the ‘Mixed Thing’, and stylistically this is exactly what we set out to make: a blend of Grenache, old vine Cinsault, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot and Savagnin, all co-fermented and pressed off skins early, then using older oak to make the wine more vibrant and less tannic.

Bright cherry, redcurrant and plum on the nose. Really fresh and crunchy on the palate, with bright red and black cherry, raspberry too, a touch of spice and soft tannins. The fruit is sweet but there is an appealing savoury character too. Aged in old barrels, so no overbearing oak influence.

Just under 13.5% alcohol and a really versatile red. Great served lightly chilled, this wine is made for lighter meals and informal drinking. Its full flavour and soft tannins making it a great match with crispy duck and plum sauce."
