Yet another reason to move to Cork! Would have LOVED to do this! :(

I'm sure the first sessions will be oversubscribed - so I expect there'll be a repeat performance when Mr R. finds out how popular his bread is! Persuading him to come up your way for a masterclass &c. might not be beyond the possible. No harm in asking.

With things like these I should definitely visit Cork! It's even only a low-cost-flight distance from Faro.

    Hi Julian,

the course has been postponed to this Wednesday, so you could still attend :-) I will be taking part as I love making my own bread and learning from one of the best breadmakers...ist just too much of a treat to miss.

    Hi Andre,
Of course you should visit Cork! Would be good to see you - and as you can see from Elke's comment, you're still not too late for Declan Ryan's bread workshop!

    Hi Elke,
We look forward to the opening of the Tower Bakery!

    Hello Margaret,
I'll ask the Ryans, or whoever is on the stall, on Thursday - if I remember - and let you know.

Margaret - Mr Ryan says please ring him to discuss it. I didn't ask for his number, sorry, but I'm sure if you e-mail as per http://www.arbutusbread.com/ that would get you an answer too.

I was working last week in Cork, and bought Arbutus Bread and it was just the best bread that i had in Ireland.
    Keep the good work

Michael - I think the thing to do is to ask Declan Ryan. First, because if anyone knows, he will; and secondly, in case he's wondering whether to bother with a course or not, your enquiry will be a vote for the 'bothering' lobby. I know the Arbutus stall is at Mahon Point market on Thursdays and at Midleton market on Saturdays. I'm sure there are other regular spots too, or you could use the address on the Arbutus website and write in.
